Closed meetings are for A.A. members only, or for those who have a drinking problem and "have a desire to stop drinking."
Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Non-alcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
Topic meetings: discussion of a topic related to alcoholism.
Speaker meetings: a speaker is invited to open the meeting with a personal story or reflection.
Step meeting: this meeting focuses on the 12 Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Big Book study: this meeting focuses on the 'Big Book', Alcoholics Anonymous.
